LSU very badly needed a great hire after the horrible 90's to resurrect your program, and you made that hire. In terms of "modern" football, LSU ranked 25th in win pct. from 1950-2000.

You can't take out certain periods, history is history, I know your jealous of 2001-2007 but it happened. Maybe you should deal with it.
Or I have another idea, since you want to take out random 8 year periods to try and help your argument like that means something, take out the 90-95;98-99 seasons. If you took out that period of the 90's LSU would be top 15 from 50-90. See anybody can play that game, it's pointless.
