Our defense is decently talented on the back end, but upfront we are as slow as a Pinto in the summertime Rockies. Our best player is LB Jett Johnson and he is a real effort kid and tough. Our best D lineman is still out with an arm, and our best player in the secondary is Emmanuel Forbes.
Offensively we have a wealth of receivers a good system qb and a decent OL. Marks and Dillon Johnson are the RBs, they also catch passes. Much much better unit than the defense. The fastest and quickest receiver is Tulu Griffin. The best hands belong to Austin Williams.
I give us a 50 percent chance to win today.

I'll take it with what I have seen so far out of LSU starters and backups. There is not a cohesive group amongst them at this point and BK has had to coddle at least one of the "high profile talent" so he doesn't pout and stomp off to the portal or creatively pull an injury opt out.
If Southern does not shoot itself in the foot throughout the first half on Saturday night, LSU could have had a much tougher time of it even though Southern was outmatched on paper from a talent perspective.
Good luck and I hope for an injury free affair.
