It would also help if he would get rid of the ghey scoring system. Points for 1st down. Points for 3rd down stops for the defense. I don't even know how it all works. Split the team up and play a fricking game. Really not sure why I would drive 2 hours, devote a whole day to something I can't even follow without a flow chart. Frick that.
Jim Donnan tried that on the way out...

Any idea what the numbers were for last year? Improvement or regression?
As long as its an improvement,
If regression,

Are you kidding? After last season? The numbers this year are down compared to last year. Last year the fans were buying into the "everyone has to step up" talk. I think this year is a bit of a statement that Pinkel forgot to step things up on his end in more ways than one.
I don't think rational fans expected to win any hardware, but frankly there were 2-3 games that Pinkel should have won. Follow that up with a recruiting class that was in the bottom 3 of the SEC, including losing out on an in-state recruit to tOSU. Followed up by top recruits decomitting. Add in the fact it's a glorified practice and not a true black vs. gold game and frankly I don't blame fans for thinking Pinkel had better step up his end of things before they continue to support him as if he has stepped it up.
Not sure exactly what they were last year, but I'm pretty certain there were more there. I really think they're fudging the numbers a bit to reach 18,000 too. Would bet there were never 18,000 in the place at the same time.
