Dude Mizzou is not suppose to compete or win ANY games in the SEC. People said Mizzou sucked. What's Kentucky and Vandy's combined record in those years. People acted as if Mizzou was on their level. Now can people admit Mizzou is a decent team. Not on the level of LSU, UGA, Auburn. But they are on the level of aTm, Arkansas, South Carolina, Miss State, Ole Miss.

That's why people bring up record vs SEC. People said Mizzou would struggle. Hell they are winning games with one of the worst offenses in years.

to answer the original poster: MU has 9 shitty wins this season... and if they win Friday...it'll be 10 shitty wins... and a second straight trip to the SECCG. I think most of us MU fans would prefer that over the 2 "good" wins ya'll are hanging your hats on this year. when it's all said and done...no one remembers or cares that you lost a bunch of games to supposedly good teams as much as they remember that you won a bunch of games...

Mizzou beat a Texas A&M team that just came off of a road win against Auburn. Mizzou won in the same place you lost earlier this year.

Our worst win is better then your best loss.

Where would that be?

Also, looks like Brandon Allen will be starting. That's the only way to explain the line getting up to Arkansas -3.5

This entire thread on tougher schedules can be summed up pretty easily. If Mizzou wins its the best win of the year for them. If Arkansas wins its the 3rd best win of the year for them

One of the best stats we keep forgetting to mention is perhaps the fact that Arkansas is 688–469–40 (.591) all time. 12 wins away from 700 and Mizzou is all time
642–534–53 (.544). Also we've played in the SEC for the past 20 lol

But surely the mizzou tiggers have been to multiple BCS bowls so they know enough about tough bowls right?

the one team with a good running game destroyed you

Are you referring to UGA? That running powerhouse where Nick Chubb is averaging 7.9 yards per carry?

Mizzou turned it over 5 times that game. Mizzou's defense was on the field a long, long time. Yet Chubb had 38 carries for only 143 yards (3.76 ypc). UGA averaged 4.06 ypc.
The next week against ArKansas, Chubb had 30 carries for 202 yards (6.73 ypc). UGA averaged 6.42 ypc.

I don't expect ArKansas to wear Mizzou down with the running game. IMO, the game hinges on Maty Mauk. If he plays smart, Mizzou has a very good chance to win. If he tries to force things, could be a long day for us Mizzou fans.
