I wish we would have stuck with the military gray and flat black unis. Those were killer awesome. They looked like futuristic combat troops on a football field.

As long as the helmet doesn't look like shite I'm on board with the "Oregon" look. Its not like we have some kind of traditional unis like Bama, Michigan or Penn St.

I think that if Missouri is looking for something that the football world will identify with their helmets should have Mizzou on them. There will be only one Mizzou but tons of tigers.

Nike fricks up our uniforms so much I don't even care anymore what they look like, however if they touch our helmets I'll be pissed.

I'll admit to being a little anxious about what they'll look like. I'm just hoping their "New Gold" isn't "bright yellow." That would be bad. But...it's football, not Project Runway. As long as they're not embarrassing and the players are happy to wear them....

The helmets don't look bad but I hate those yellow unis. I think a black uni with gold/yellow numbers could look pretty sweet though.

I hear you, semo. Hell, I'm just happy we will finally have an "official" gold color. Personally, I can't stand there are 5 different shades of gold/yellow for all of our fan gear.

This is great strategy. Mizzou is going to drop any football tradition they have and try to take a tradition rich league by storm, with new uni's.

I know! The University has it's standard approved gold, but that's for print and doesn't translate into apparel and fan gear, unfortunately.
I'm more partial to the sort of dull, old gold myself, but Pinkel has always wanted a gold that shows up well on TV. Just hope it's not obnoxious. On a positive note, we'll be able to get just about anything Nike makes in our colors, most likely.

Agreed with you on that point. I've heard the gold will be very similar to what our bball team is sporting this season so pay attention to the next time they have them on. Also Nike is going to brand it as Mizzou gold and all of our gear will be that gold
Personally I'd be very alright if we ended up with our uni's looking a lot like these Saints ones.
