Actually I have. I'd say that if you assume that gay men are all "obvious", then maybe you have had limited experience being around adult gay men. I have tailgated with a couple and their friends in Fayetteville. You'd never know. Sure, the people in Sam's immediate circle might know, but nobody on here knew he was. And the larger media and football world would have never known.
It's not that they act "gay." It's that they have to live straight, which makes most fairly transparent.

Ever guy I've ever met...I knew they were gay well before they told me...not stereotyping, just things that let you know.

Just because some of these dude's don't agree with your point of view doesn't make them a bigot. Having a different opinion doesn't make you smarter bud. Sorry. I have never had a problem with gay people. My wives youngest brother is gay and we treat him the same as everyone else.

I've probably met many that I never knew. Those who were in closer circles, you know.

The fact is some people don't support the lifestyle and some do........I don't support it, but I"m not trying to kill the next man who does, because I don't hate that man.............Just accept that I don't support it and go on with your life, like I have with mine is all I ask........We can live peaceful.

You Don't have to support it. Just accept he's got to live his life just like you've got to live yours. Who he's romantically or sexually involved with has no bearing on me.

For the 50th freaking time, NOBODY CARES!!! You like another grown man's hairy arse...cool.
I have an issue with this being paraded around by him like "Look at me!! Accept me!!" and ESPN like "Look at him!! Accept him or you're a homophobe!!"...and that, I stand by.

If you had something about yourself that would cause a large portion of society reject you, fire you, make hateful comments about you, or, in some cases, assault or murder you, you'd understand why its useful for a person to "announce" it.
No; I wouldn't.
Example: I'm in a room full of drunk LSU fans who don't know that I'm an Ole Miss fan and (according to your theory)... Just to make certain that I don't get rejected, attacked, assaulted or have hurtful comments said to me, I decide to "announce" it to protect myself. ????

and is that not what I just said......I'm not worried about his life.......let him live it......but to try to force me to agree with you on everything is not going to happen......Do you.....I'll do me.

Maybe ESPN is doing that, he's just getting his side of the story out before someone else does.

The only thing running through my head right now is that episode where Mac is reading out bible verses to the tranny and her new husband about why homosexuality is a sin. But the Miller Light guy kept trying to confuse him with his liberal biblicisms.
