Mizzou baseball just might be for real

Took 2 of 3 from UF. Have already taken 2 of 3 from SC. Swept UGA. Was able to sneak a game at A&M.
Not saying they're College World Series caliber, but considering the last 2 years, I'm beginning to think they may actually be okay this year. The exciting part for Mizzou fans is that the new attitude and the best performances are coming from underclassmen.
The big question at the end of the year is if it will be enough to save Tim Jamieson his job. His contract wasn't extended and is up after this season and the consensus seemed to be he'd be gone after this year and Mizzou would hire Vitello off of the Arky staff. Not so sure anymore.

Your garbage and our garbage are 2 different things. Better take a look at what we've done our 1st two years in the SEC if you want to know what real garbage is and why winning any series, much less SC and UF are a pretty big deal for the Mizzou program.

I've only seen your team in the A&M series and 2 innings of game 3 of the S. Carolina series. Really like your Shortstop and your overall team defense.

Pitching and defense. The offense has come around a little bit. By that I mean I think our team batting average has crept over .250.

First top 5 series win since 2008..you will have plenty more chances in the SEC for sure
I can see this team as a super regional team. Probably end up in Stillwater or somewhere favorable.

I think that's where the latest projections had us. Still got some work to do to get there but god I hope so. The SEC Network has absolutely been awesome in being able to watch games. Between TV or streaming it on ESPN online, I think I've watched 80% of our games. Just love the network.

LSU may pummel Mizzou, but we have exceeded expectations this year. Most of us thought our coach would be canned after this season.

Suck is probably an overstatement. Not as strong of a season so far as y'all are probably used to, but that's still a series that Mizzou gets swept in the last 2 seasons.

You're right when you say the best part is the underclassmen. Vast improvement over last year, at least so far, and a lot of young talent. Very good pitching.

Yepp. And TJ said there will be a decision soon on potentially our best freshman recruit bat and whether he'll be able to play this year.

Im shocked. The starting pitching for midweek games shock me, lose to weaker teams mid week, beat good teams fri-sun..lol.
