we average a slightly higher TOP than you. neither of us are going to be mistaken for a service academy anytime soon.

Is that because of your defense? I haven't watched LSU other than the 4th Q against Ole miss. But by the tone on this board, everyone makes it out to sound like LSUs defense is that bad.

no our defense gave up extremely long possesssions against Arkansas.

we’re marginally over 30 minutes, we
are on the field usually as much as we aren’t.

So far it isn't working, but our red zone strategy has been to call slow running plays and commit false starts.

We're all hoping it starts paying off soon.

To save you some time in film prep here’s what we do almost every time we get into the red zone:

1st - Run a trap or an option to the short side of the field. (Only variation is if we made it into the red zone on a long play then we will do a no huddle hurry up into this play). Usually good for 1-3 yards.

2nd - deep fade that connects 5% of the time.

3rd - a quick pass to Burden (regardless of being triple covered) or a surrender cobra run to the middle of the field to set up our fat awesome kicker.

Save this reply and laugh on Saturday.
