Drew Allar was the #1 rated QB in his HS class and a projected 1st round pick next year. I think he's overrated but he would start for 95% of P4 teams. And a conservative coach like Franklin will never bench a starter who has them firmly in the playoffs unless they lose to a massive underdog, which Allar never did.

It’s good. Because either one is a better athlete than Brady Cook. Cook had heart and grit. Both of these fellers have a higher ceiling than Cook .

Then why didn’t Horn start last season instead of Cook?

He played in several games … but didn’t start.

I like Horn, but he’s a better baseball player than football qb …
like his older brother in that regard. He’s a local kid that I watched when he was in HS … good athlete, great kid, but slow wheels.

There was a reason he didn’t beat out Cook as the starter, and it has nothing to do with his arm.

I suspect most Mizzou fans know this is just preseason media chaff … designed to camouflage. Pribula will be the starter …. and how good he will produce is a big unknown at this point.

Drew is the 4th best QB according to ESPN, 6th best according to the athletic, and 6th best according to Fox sports for 2025.

Maybe they're both good QBs, and Drink needs a determining factor?

A few drives against Central Arkansas won't tell you jack shite.

This is just a way to keep one from quitting so that they have a back-up.

He didn't play last year. Last season was 2024. You know this, correct?

He didnt. This is why last year sucked compared to expectations. Cook our #1 was injured a lot, Horn our #2 was out all year, and our 3rd string ended up playing a lot more than anyone needed to see(lol oU)
