They're literally at or near the top of the class in the SEC. No one even debates that really.

And the SEC has some great kits so that is saying a lot.

The whole series, their player and coaches wouldn't retrieve foul balls. They'd just leave them out there. Our base coaches would have to run down and get them.

MSU is an Adidas school so they'll have weird uniform combinations.

When I was there in 98 I tried to sign a deal with Nike for the whole school, but Rowe blocked it. He said we should let the sports pick each gear. Two years after I left (04) they started to their move.

At the time I had Russell for football, Champion and Big Head (Coach Hinson's call) for basketball, Rawlings for baseball, Lotto for soccer, Nike for track, Antiqua for Golf.

It was a nightmare. The only good thing was I had two shoe companies to deal with Nike and Mizzuno (Baseball).

Mizuno is still going strong too.

LSU is sponsored by them for a sport.

Hog fans are working on MSU about the smirks and laughs, glove flips and arguing calls. I can't argue with them because MSU was chippy. Guess if I was playing against the Hogs and in front of that crowd I'd probably want to keep an attitude about me too.

But, I've dealt briefly with coach Guttin before and came away impressed with him and the attention he provided. He was personable and very helpful. Since you were there with the athletic dept., do you know coach Guttin to be this kinda guy?

The only player I had a problem with was Missou State's Day 2 pitcher who smiled and chuckled every time he struck us out, which was often. He also talked smack to a couple of players as well.

And it's only bothersome because he backed up his smack talk by one hitting us, instead of us beating him in the final innings like we should have done.

Good thing for the Hogs most everyone else on that team was overhyped.

Big Hog fan and country star Justin Moore called Hall out on Twitter btw.

quote:
@JustinColeMoore: @hall_22 dealt today. However, be more humble. You were a smartass on TV. The more humble you are, the farther you will go. Good luck. WPS!

@JustinColeMoore: @Hall_22 I was talkin bout when the camera caught you mocking our catcher. Either way, you are a stud. Just understand that God blessed you

@Hall_22: @JustinColeMoore appreciate it man... Wasn't being cocky, just having fun. I smile a lot. Not just against you guys. Much respect to da hogs

@Hall_22: @JustinColeMoore best of luck tomorrow, may the better team win. Didn't mean to mock anyone.. Great crowd, and better team.

Ultimate posted this back on page 3. He kinda redeemed himself with this, despite getting called out.

He was a supreme douche but you put in a performance like that, whatever. I'd take him on our team any day of the week.

The first basemen was the one that really chapped my arse more than anything with that Michael Jackson foul ball catch dance.

Yesterday, you could see Hall visiting with Razorback fans sitting along the third base line.

MSU was finishing up taking infield and he was shaking hands and took a few pictures with some kids.

Looked like a pleasant exchange.

He is good guy to deal with outside the field. He is very chippy and feels like he has a point to prove on the field. That is where the team gets it's edge. They have always been that way and it works for them. People get rustled because they take no crap from anyone and usually back it up. I say they backed everything up this weekend also.

People complained about their seeding, their schedule, their uniforms, etc. Any team would respond.

Van Horn and Guttin are a lot alike on the field, they chirp and they don't care what you think of them.

I think it is kind of crazy that Hog fans forget the attitude Nolan, Petrino, and at times DVH are what they are complaining about.
