I understand fully.

You were the last option at the time and we knew that you had no place to go, yet we also had no better options either given the circumstances of the time.

You filled our needs, as we did yours.

We had just hoped that you guys were up to the task in meeting the certain expectations of maintaining the athletic quality in our conference.

Not so much...as it turns out.

You have two teams in Mississippi for fricks sake and you are worried about Mizzou?

As a State fan, I'd love to have Mizzou on the schedule every year since you are an easy win.

Plus, we don't cheat and don't have activists on our campus.

Edit: Didn't you guys used to have a decent journalism school or something? Clearly that's awful as well currently.

(1.) If you are given a bowl invite in the future...take it.

(2.) Whip the other team's arse and yell "SEC, SEC, SEC!"

(3.) Go home.

This is how things are done in this conference.

Stop embarrassing us.

These are simple directions. Stop running from your problems and stop telling other groups how to run your football program.

Why are you making such a stupid thread?

The post season ban in basketball is because of NCAA violations

We declined a bowl bid because

A: We didn't deserve it
B: We didn't even have a coach at the time

It would have been a shitty game with a very low payout that would have had to been split 14 ways. I think you all will survive.

We'll be back soon enough.

Auburn had a shite year athletically as well. Why you dragging the conference down as a charter member???

Football was less than great. We still went to a Bowl and beat a ranked team.

Softball is (20-1) and ranked #2 in the nation.

Golf is ranked #4 in the nation.

Gymnastics is #7 in the Nation.

Men's Swimming and Diving is #7 in the Nation.

Women's Swimming and Diving is #13 in the Nation.

Equestrian is #1 in the Nation

Not bad for a "shite year" in some small town on the Plains of rural Alabama...compared to the Flagship University of the whole State of Missouri.

I am proud of how our Athletes continue to represent our University.

Are you?

What's the point of this thread man?

I live in this weird dying state/city. They barely even give a shite, that's how sad it is.

They're letting their flagship University go the same route as they let this once great city. After the Cardinals suck dick this year and get butt raped by the Cubs it will literally be the last straw. Blues play the Hawks tomorrow night, I'll be there and I'll bet $50 they crumble as they always do. Even if they win, come playoff time, they will wilt and die once again.

They have the Royals but that is basically a Kansas team anyway.

Dark Dark times for Mizzou folks. I honestly feel bad cruising around with my Hog Emblem and Arkansas plates, rubbing it in on the regular but it is what it is. They got themselves in all these situations 100%.

If you have college kids on your campus you have activists too, dumb arse. They just haven't yet figured out how they want to get their 15 minutes of fame.

What did I say that wasn't true?

STL isn't a shite hole?

The cards are going to be really good this year?

Everything and everyone aren't leaving this city?

There are towns/cities in Arkansas I can admit completely suck arse, don't see why yall take such pride in a city that clearly is and has been on the downslide for decades.

Kansas City is pretty nice, STL is not.

I don't really think your KC or St Louis markets are really making that much of a difference right now.

If the SEC Network is part of the cable packages of the providers in KC or St Louis, then yes, they are making a difference. You act as if the SEC only gets paid if people watch.

The vast majority of population in STL is in the county. Not metro. STL county population continues to experience consistent growth, and the metro population has stayed pretty much steady for the past several years. So no, not everyone is leaving. Pretty much the opposite. Also, STL has 9 Fortune 500 companies headquartered here. That's top 10 nationally, and more than the entire state of Arkansas since you brought it up. So no, not everything is leaving. Pretty much the opposite.

So yeah, you're fricking stupid. BTW, if you don't like STL why don't you leave? Are you too stupid to do that as well?
