It is kind of weird...
Missouri had some really talented teams in the '60s.. but they just couldn't get there. The 1969 team was right there with Penn State, Texas and Ohio State.
Reminds me of Norm Stewart's basketball tenure. Incredible teams... but couldn't get to the Final Four.

Oklahoma is no longer able to push Mizzou around in football with the new NIL and transfer portal rule change being in effect two years ago. Mizzou has since improved its roster in basketball and football. You weren't able to beat Mizzou in football and basketball last season. Time is now and not look back at what you have done in the past. I am very happy with the way things are going for Mizzou in football and basketball at this point.
