Having attended both, I would say PGA was significantly bigger. Parking in the lot and walking to the shuttles I saw license plates from all over. Picked up a friend from the airport before heading out there and you could tell there were a lot of golf fans that had just flown in.
SEC Tournament did well, but there is no way it drew nearly as many people as the PGA.

There was no comparison to the attendance and the economic impact of the PGA to St Louis then the SEC tournament...no matter how someone argued back in March foolishly.
