I will give you MSU guys credit, this is the fastest I have ever seen guys jump off a bandwagon, in all my born days.
To start the season, there were some guys predicting MSU would compete for the SEC west, since Bama and LSU had questions at QB.

Ive been a State fan all of my life and even supported Sylvester Croom. I haven't and NEVER stop Grindin for my STATE.
Unlike LSU and Bama we don't have many "bandwagon" fans. Our fans are sincere fans who have been life long fans many whom are also alumni of Mississippi State.

You're never good enough to garner attention from other fans.

He's still grinding, but that doesn't mean he's gonna rave about how awesome we are.

I hope Mullen wins you guys a national championship and stays there forever and becomes your Bear Bryant.

Meh, a lot of overreaction on every side here.
What did people expect? Mullen isn't exactly at a world beater of a program here. This kind of shite takes time, especially at a place that hasn't enjoyed back to back winning seasons for however long it's been for MSU. No point in jumping off the bandwagon now. The fact that you're having consistent winning seasons is enough to be happy about, because it's better than what you had with Crooms and Sherrill's later years.
Mullen wasn't the only reason for the lack of success that UF suffered in its later years. Losing Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy after the MNC year cost them a deep threat that Cooper, Demps and Rainey couldn't replace.
Combined with Tebow and all the other talent leaving in 09 and Brantley coming in, UF's offense was decimated and bound to take a drop.
