That's cool. Bonds were just approved by the BOT for our football upgrades last week.

they think spending 25 million on a building is going all out... maybe in cusa that is considered legit but in the sec you'll be average at best.

Well...I didn't mean to denigrate the announcement. Only $25.5 million of our bonds are going towards football improvements in Fayetteville. But we've already got a pretty pimp facility as it is.

Mullen his HIGH ambitions for his team every year. I remember last year at a Freshman Orientation he spoke to the students there and told them we would be going to 4 straight bowls and we were going to win the SEC west. After that speech this board went crazy talking bad about Mullen and saying that he is irrational.
However MOST MSU FANS, well the ones 40 and up are happy with winning seasons and Bowl games. We went through some pretty damn RAW years between 2001 and 2009 when Dan was Hired.

Yeah, but that isn't on top of the $25.5 if IIRC. The project that we are starting, with the underground garage, with practice fields on top, and the new Football Ops Center is only $25 million. The donations are going to pay off the bonds. It will likely open up debt free.
The dorms and academic bonds will be paid with student fees and tuition.
The bonds are just a way to start construction now without having to wait on the remaining donations.

pretty sure that is the low end estimate. I heard 25 to 30 for football. 20 to 25 for basketball.
