I really hope y'all get this done as it will force Ole Miss to counter with bowling in our north end-zone.

I don't what would be done. The key is to build suites to generate most of the revenue (there is a waiting list for them). An option might be to expand suites on the east and west side and bowl in the north without suites. Regardless, an expansion by MSU will put pressure on Ole Miss to follow suit.
It seems the last few expansions to DWS or VHS have been a result of countering what the other school has done.

This needs to be done. i'm embarrassed my team has to play in your current stadium. To me its the equivalent of having to go play a rent a win at their place.

Coming from an Arky fan who's team is making LSU play in War Memorial Stadium.....

Back on topic. Stadium needs it for sure, but I'm sure it seems like an awefully expensive update for only 5k to 7k more seats. I would think the powers that be need to think big picture and add at least another 10k seats to justify costs........imho

I really hope we renovate our west side with a new press box before we bowl in the north endzone. We do not need more seats, just more suites. Id make the west side match our SEZ and have a huge press box that stretches across the entire west side with more chair backs underneath and more suites similar to Florida's.

Then after that, if we needed more seats or even more suites I'd be happy to bowl in the NEZ with a low bowl and suites on top similar to UK's except with the suites not looking like double wides

Just stating the obvious. Do you disagree that State is headed in the right direction while Ole Miss is headed in wrong direction?

That's bc bubba did it up with Photoshop. It's in no way official. The only thing that State has said about expanding is they will have a 75k stadium by 2030. I'm not kidding.

After one season? No. As I said in my previous post. The only thing State has mentioned about expansion is a 20 year plan to get 15k more seats. I can have someone bowl in VHS and add upper decks and post that on the rant too. Would that have OM program heading in the right direction

People said the same thing after the 2007 season, how did that turn out?

To be honest...I think both are headed in the right direction.

I don't disagree with that. Mullen is doing a helluva job. His players have bought into his system and the State fans worship him.

Because of a bad season? I realize your thought process with Nutt at the helm but c'mon. Now, if we have another horrid season next year I may agree with you.

Then my head will explode.
