As of now we just need to add student seats. We don't need a bigger stadium if we can't fill it up.

Have you gone to any home games in the past 2 years? We have sold out 10 straight home games.

Considering we have sold out every home game this season and several fom last season, I think we need and deserve a bigger stadium

The real driver to this is the need for more suites and club level seating, which will be in the north end zone. Additional student seating and getting rid of those gawdawful bleachers is just an additional perk.

We may have sold out ten in a row but we would not fill up a 65k seat statium. After a couple years of success we will probably be able to, but these sell-outs are just barely sellouts. It's not like we desperate for seats. I wanna see it get expanded but there's not a huge need for it. I think they will just bowl in the North endzone and have a lot of new suites and rennovate the stadium to look nicer.

Couldn't even scrape up $180k for Cam - where's the expansion money coming from?

Funny.

But seriously, do you expect butts in those new seats? It needs improvement in the worst way, that stadium and vandy's look like poor big-least stadiums.

Does that mean that you need to add more seats so it's not sold out? That never made sense to me. Of course there may be demand for more seats but just because you fill it up doesn't automatically mean you should make it bigger. That's kind of like saying if I fill my trash can up every week I need to make it bigger so it's not full when the trash guys pick it up.

The first expansion will just bowl in the temporary bleachers and add suites on top, so there won't be a ton of extra seats. The whole stadium will probably be rennovated too to make it look nicer.

I'm confused. Where is the giant cowbell? This stadium needs MORE COWBELL.

Also, get the Chick-Fil-A cows to parachute in for the stadium's grand reopening. That would be awesome.

Maximize your cow quotient.

This. Larry Templeton even admitted after the last expansion they didnt' have the foresight of the demand for suites and club level.

I think they need to completely close one side of the stadium to make it a true horseshoe. They could start with the lower area opposite the scoreboard. That wouldn't add a huge amount of seats but would probably be enough to figure out what the growing demand is. Leave the upper decks as they are. Stadiums that are completely closed (at least at one end) just look so much better and generate better crowd noise IMO. They could also add some lower level seats on either side of the scoreboard if demand existed.

So if MSU turns the tapes over to Auburn instead of the FBI and the NCAA, Bobby Lowder and Milton McGregor will build them a new stadium.

Sweet deal if you ask me. Is MSU trying to tell Auburn what type of deal they need to lose the evidence?
