Only ones I am aware of are OL Devon Desper and Cole Carter both like long State fans who committed early and choose to shut down their recruitment. The third one is Nelson Adams who is a solid Player who also committed early and told others he wasn't interested.

Yeah, but it was because it is a Ms. State offer.
Coaches like Miles, Saban, Petrino, Stoops, etc give up once this offer has been extended towards a player.

The reason why they say he "shut down" his recruitment is Mullen tells them that he doesn't consider them committed if they visit another school.
Flat out....Mullen is scared of other schools in recruiting.

Southern Miss barely recruits Mississippi. They only signed 2 in state kids last year.

Mack Brown does similar at Texas. He is kinda lazy in recruiting, IMO, and takes the talent the school attracts on its own account. This is obviously at a much higher level than what Ms. State is able to attract when using the same strategy.
