You guys have a strength and it is against our biggest weakness. We barely beat Auburn at home, no way we go down there and win.

I know we just got beat Auburn but they are pretty bad. Those final 8 minutes was the craziest shite I've seen in a long time. How we choked & how they couldn't do anything wrong, plus a few shitty arse calls.

I don't know what happened with Powell? He killed us last year as a Fresh, he seemed like a totally different player in Starkville last week.

How different would Miss Stake be as a program though if they had gotten the players that were suppossed to go there.

Bender
Outlaw
Butler
Ellis

Broken foot, and him getting into it with Pel constantly. They got into a verbal fight before a game last week, and Pel had Powell tell the media he rolled his ankle because he didn't start, but came in 2 minutes into the game. If Pel comes back he will transfer.

It makes me sick to think of it. Even one or two of those guys, we would be totally different now.

That's the thing with Stans... People talk about all the talent he has had & done nothing with... but he hasn't had an NBA guy yet, other than a Lawrence Roberts.. who played i think 2 years in the league. Tang Hamilton, made the Heat squad at one time but never really played more than a few minutes.

Eh, you don't need NBA players to win in College. How many guys played in the NBA off the 94-95 Arkansas team?

Oh my bad... was thinking you were asking about the State team

I would say Corliss Williamson, Todd Day, Lee Mayberry, Oliver Miller or Dwight Stewart.

Corliss Williamson was the only NBA player on our championship team. Scotty Thurman did not get drafted, but played for the CBA and also played foreign ball.

As long as Stans has been here & he has been a consistent guy for us for years. I just hate it having to get ugly for him and MSU. If there were a way, I'd like to be able to keep him on board some how

I'd love to see him stay employed with the University- just not as basketball coach

Definitely no excuse to lose to Auburn in basketball, would have been better to be beaten by the Lady Bulldogs then to have lost a game to Auburn

They should move him to "Head of BB operations" or some shite like that. Head of Recruiting sounds nice. Then bring in an actual x's and o's guy to coach

Dude, I want that guy so bad, but he is at Butler until Purdue or Indiana opens up, and he will take either one of those.
