Told you this was true. Blatant cheaters. Hiring tutors to do the work of your players. Wow!

I made the post

I only disputed your claim that the tutor was hired to take tests. Nope, that's why she was fired, and why those players are sitting. Try and keep up

State gonna sit all of their suspended players from the tutor fiasco.

If State gets to pick the games, why on earth would they pick this one?

That seems doubtful.

At most, they sit maybe three guys?

-It's a road game
-Starting QB out; True Freshman making his first road start
-It's doubtful they would win anyway.
-The players have to sit and there are more winnable games down the schedule

Thanks for posting that.

Honestly, I did not follow it that closely.

How many players are actually being punished?

How many games total?

Have they already sat out games -- like Kansas State?

Is it primarily starters or players who provide depth?

Thanks!

Of course that will be the official story son. Did you really expect MSU to tell the truth?

It's a crazy and maddening situation.

First, these suspensions are a result of such a stupid situation....but that's another story. The players did it, they're being punished.

10 players have to miss 8 games each. State gets to pick the games. Best DL has played 1 game this year; best LB (and best player) played his first game Saturday against Kentucky.

State coaches are really going to have to maximize the analytics in order to win the most games possible this year.

I just don't see Auburn on the road as a game to gamble on. Gotta conserve ammo.

Sounds like a hot mess.

Especially since a lot of winnable games are away this year. Do you take the risk and sit the talent at the SEC games you want to lock down?

@AU
@ Tenn
@A&M
@ Arky

And you have to think they want everyone for the egg bowl.

- Stevens plays this weekend.
- The DL has played in 2 games

- And don't rule out the 10 making that trip. Auburn is a winnable game.

Auburn is winnable , with a full squad. But if you lose this game and then lose another because of the suspensions then JoMo will have some 'splaining to do. It's going to take some real strategic planning to get bowl eligible this year.

How upset will you be when they let all 10 play and still lose to AU by 20?

You would kick the dog wouldn't you?

Puncher's chance if this game was in Starkvegas- defense will be exposed at Auburn, but this is the SEC-any given Saturday-that's why you play the game!!
