I just hate it for state fans. They obviously werent that good last year. They beat up on shitty teams and lost to good ones. State fans try to make themselves feel better by saying they've lost to ranked teams, who gives a shite if you never beat one. More and more of crooms talent is leaving and dans 2 stars just can't compete week in and out with the sec. I know a few state fans that have mentioned winning the national championship this year and some that really believe Chris Relf is a serious heisman candidate, just sad. I know several guys that might kill themselves when state doesn't win 6 games, pray for them...

Good point. Maybe they'll stop beating up on Vandy and actually gain a winning record against 1 other SEC team.

My prediction:

at Memphis (Thur.) Win: 45-14
at Auburn Loss: 20-21
LOUISIANA STATE (Thur.) Loss: 13-31
LOUISIANA TECH Win: 38-13
at Georgia Loss: 24-28
at UAB Win: 27-17
SOUTH CAROLINA Win: 27-26
at Kentucky Win: 38-20
TENNESSEE-MARTIN Win: 52-10
ALABAMA Loss: 13-24
at Arkansas Loss: 17-38
MISSISSIPPI Win: 27-24

State goes 7-5 and goes to the Liberty Bowl.

I see several tough, close games. I just believe MSU lose more than people admit. They lost their best offensive and defensive players. The time proteciton for Relf without Sherrod will not be there. He won't be able to run the ball 20 times a game, again, and not be hurt at some point. It'll be a lot of close games, but the Mullen treatment and Utopia effect will soon wear off when they hit their first stumble.

Last year was State's marqee season. It was our worst season in 6 years. It came down to the wire. Yes, we lost Cobb and Locke. Over all we are much more solid, particularly our O-line and defensive secondary. State will not be beating anyone in the league by 18 points.

Maybe, but the year before we dominated you at your place. With AD rushing for like 260 & 400 plus as a team.

That's where I feel the differece is with UK & MSU. MSU dominates on the line of scrimmage.

In years past, maybe. Not this year. Our O-line is one of the best in the SEC this year.
