At this rate, he'll have arguably a better Freshman year than TM, though with more of an emphasis on Pass Coverage (PBU's, INTs and INT TD's) to TM's Run Coverage/Pass Rush (Sacks, TKL, Fumbles)

Minkah is right on par with TM7 at the moment.
In 7 games TM7 had:
1 Int, 3 Forced Fumbles, 25 Tkls, 3 TFLs, 2.5 Sacks, 4 PBUs, and 1 Fumble Recovery
In 7 games MF has:
2 Ints, 1 Punt Block, 24 Tkls, 3 TFLs, 2 Sacks, 6 PBUs, and 3 TDs
In 7 games TM7 had:

I would imagine those stats are from TM7's FR year as it is a comparison of both players through the same point in their career. Why would you compare MF29's first 7 games as a TFr to TM7's first 7 in his Soph year?

You sound really douchy when you call TM a 'thug' and then cry about other people not being able to discuss this topic in a reasonable manner. Post the question like an adult and maybe the results would be (slightly) better. TM was never a 'thug,' god I hate that word. He just made some dumb personal decisions.
To answer your question, its just too early to say. Comparing this point in their careers there's no way to say one was better than the other. Minkah has a long way to go to get to TM's sophomore season. Personally I doubt he reaches that level, but he has been a real treat to watch this year.

And he scored a TD in literally zero of his first 7 games as a freshman, which is what Minkah is.

Minkah is fantastic though and is probably having a better freshman season than TM did. He's got some work to do to catch up with Mathieu's body of work though.

Def....it's just a comparison...I don't get why everyone is so mad. HB was the real deal and was very impressive during is college career. He was a very fun player to watch.
