No they dont, they never post anything about step=daddy TEXAS because they have moved on to greener pastures and TEXAS is never on their little minds. TEXAS is the furthest thing from the thoughts of aggy because TEXAS is irrelevant.

ha. The OC is top 5 only if you consider that to be Sarkisian, which for all intents and purpose will be. Flood is an offensive line coach, and while he may or may not be top 5 at that position he certainly isn't at OC.

Nobody would consider the new defensive coordinator to be top 5 at his position either. Washington was ranked #39 in the nation. LINK

It's good to be optimistic about your team, but probably a good idea to be realistic too. Being unrealistic has probably been a problem at Texas.

.aggy posted this because they do not know what its like to have a rival anymore. OU fans thought it was a great hire (read below) because they know that Stoops sucks. I dont think this one was on the crazy arse boosters, it sounds like it was the majority of the fan base. It was equivalent as if the GATORS hired Jim Chaney as OC or Texas to hire SUMLIN as an OC. One day maybe aggy will get a rival and figure this shite out. Until then they will continue to go as stag.

LINK to OU knowing Stoops sucks

for the same reasons they think sark was an underrated head coach, they think the DC is. Cupboard was bare at UW, walked into a messy situation, etc. nevermind the entire conference is a mess thats devoid of pro talent.

Texas staff is average at best. OU will continue to own that conference for awhile, with ISU providing some competition. Sark is going to find his offense doesn't work in the BDF without elite players. His OL at Texas is borderline pathetic

Minus Vince Young, your trophy case looks a lot like aggie's.

The Aggies are the premier program in Texas not doubt. Cry a river short horns.

If you are so great why do you feel the need to come to an SEC forum to talk shite?

Nobody here GAF!

Obviously that is not true, or you wouldn't constantly post about a team you don't "GAF" about.

Why am I here. I like football, college, high school and professional.

I come here for the entertainment, the factual information and diverse opions people have about college football in general, and to occasionally correct the aggy untruths that are spread to an unsuspecting populace. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true.

Am I unrealestic? Maybe. Don't lose to Maryland. Twice. Make's me want to take 180 grains of lead traveling at 2,800 ft/sec and blow the shite out of something. Alas, its more effective to write some words to the AD, and send a check with a few less zeros.

But I'm an old and have seen the occassions when the University of Texas is focused on football. Not only has it not been focused on football in a long time, it was neglected. It is focused now.

Sark is the head coach, but he doesn't, nor should he, make 100% of the decisions on a $200 Million/yr, $Billion program. Maybe Saban does, but Nick earned it.

It appears Stoops opened his mouth and prematurely and falsely represented "facts" to the wrong people. The shite storm that erupted Thurday night at midnight wasn't simply "BMD meddling", it was damn near everyone that reads about Texas football volcanoing on every forum available.

I believe Sark and CDC now have a much greater appreciation and understanding for the passion, depth and magnitude of the program they were choosen to lead.

UT dodged a bullet. At the end of the day, his DC picked the guy he wanted, as it should be.

As for the quality of coaches, the numbers aren't the story. Some complained that Choate didn't sign any 5* or 4* players. Montana isn't really a hotbed of football. He turned down a DC position at UW to be a position coach at Texas. He's not the only coach that took a lateral or a step down to follow Sark to Texas.

My expectations? Treat people right, work hard, make good decisions and do your best. Make us proud.

Have a nice day.

Hook 'em!

I actually thought that Herman finally had the OC/DC in place to be successful, and Texas pulled the trigger on him too soon. The improvement of the team from the beginning of the year to the end was notable.

But now, Texas has to start all over again. Those expecting a 10-2 season for the horns next year are stupid - it will take time. Something that the Texas fanbase doesn't really give coaches.
