This is the condition I had before surgery, and was very close myself to an event. This hits me sort of hard because it's tough, but fixable. I now have a 5" chunk of polyester tubing sewn to the top of my heart. The guy who did my surgery had put NBA players back on the court.

It’s possible (probable even) that there’s an error in this game of telephone and Leach had an aortic dissection, which would absolutely result in the rapid decline we saw.
