This may be a hot take among Aggie fans but I wish Big Mike gets more respect in Aggieland. Sadly Johnny gets more praise than he does all because of Johnny winning the Heisman. Mike Evans and Von Miller are among the best Aggies ever in the NFL

Mike Evans made Johnny Manziel. So many of Manziel’s “amazing plays” he just threw a prayer up after running around in the backfield and Evans came down with it

Mike Evans in the 2013 season was the best season ever for an A&M receiver. He dominated Alabama and Auburn in those games.

Hopefully he comes back from that injury on the dropped TD pass. It looked like he dropped the TD pass as the DB did a gator roll with his legs.
Evans was grabbing his hammy but i thought it looked like the leg twisting may have affected his knees….
My guess he is out for a while. That TE stepped up and gave Baker a tall target but man he got hit it the head every catch it seemed like…

he was jimbos only 1st rd WR ever drafted if i recall correctly. jameis #1 target at FSU. playing in canadian league now i believe

Johnny is the bigger celebrity but Evans is more respected by every Aggie I know.

Evans never played for Jimbo. He was recruited by Mike Sherman as a 2 Star who had played 1 season of football (he was a basketball player) for a terrible HS team in Galveston Ball. Sherman saw the potential and took a chance on him. He Redshirted in 2011 along with JFF and then both came out and exploded on the scene in Sumlin's first year and a wide open offense.
