there were some people in the Blakely camp that really supported his going to Florida. I think Blakely tried to make those people happy by deciding on Florida...when he really liked Auburn

Haven't I read this damn book before?

I can understand how you might feel... and I felt the same way once.

2008 killed those feeling deader than a doornail for me. Playing games with and attempting to kill the Auburn program for (1) spite against Lowder et.al. (when Lowder et.al are the ones that got him the job in the first place) and (2) job security for your damn BBQ buddies, pissed me right the hell off.

I'm no insider but I'm pretty sure Jeff Demps ran track, and Mike Gilislee was hurt most of if not all of spring ball, as well as Mack Brown, so I'm not sure how he watched them all spring.

I'll re-read the post from the insider. I may have misread what he wrote.

Yes, he's reliable and doesn't post BS.

Does Boom's crackdown on the 420 fun-time group have anything to do with this?

The insider said he watched MBJ and MG in the spring and that MB wanted to go somewhere with PT available.

hmmmm...a former Gator to JUCO to Auburn? Is he going to Blinn? If so, Auburn will win it all in 2012.

Yah, that was one of'em. I heard it had a tragic end for MSU with inbred, scary MSU boosters, but the kid ended up being the hero and won the day.

Well, this one has not been arrested for theft or charged with academic fraud so I'm not sure if it will work the same or not.

Looks like we'll have to wait and see.

Oh, and yeah, I mad bro.

Still don't know what the 420 gang is.

Many athletes smoke pot at all schools. Ours are just too stupid to not smoke in public.

The last one left for other reasons. Playing time transfers hardly ever work out. Very rare cases.

I thought the last one left because Tebow decide to come back after winning the championship?

Newton said earlier this week that he wanted to stay at Florida but felt he had to leave because he knew he wasn't going to play much — if at all — behind Tebow. It wasn't his arrest for stealing a laptop that chased him from Gainesville late in the 2008 season.

I think I edited my last post before you replied so you didn't see this part...

Um, that writer is using Cam's words.

You can think Cam had the option to stay all you want.
