Bill O'Brien was right when he told Milroe he needed to find another position because he's not a QB
OBrien MOSTLY found another job because Saban was forcing him into a corner with Milroe. Saban was making bad decisions by listening to the team and not Obrien and Obrian wasn't having it. He told Saban "good luck with all that", and he headed out. By the results I'd say Saban definitely took the team down the wrong path and he bailed before he had to face the 2024 season.

It was almost a repeat of when Brain Dayboll wanted to play Tua over Hurts. Saban was loyal to Hurts right up until the start of the third quarter against UGA in the NC game.

Hurts was guiding Milroe on what to do to best pressure Saban to make him the starter, including turning the locker room against anyone but Milroe. It was a shiit show.

No OC experience? He got shite canned as a OC while he had Michael Penix

They won like 2 games with one of the best college QBs in recent years

Sounds like a lot of cope.

The incovenient truth for Bama fans is more likely that Milroe was simply the best quarterback on your roster.

He won 7 more than that, including a rout of your team, with Jalen Milroe

LSU couldn’t even beat Milroe and Sheridan. They damn sure won’t beat an actual quarterback and Grubb

Hopefully it's a pocket passer

The inconvenient truth for you is that Nick Saban himself said going into the 2023 season that it was very close between Milroe and Simpson. He went with the upper classman.

Next season we’ll have a more experienced and proven OC, and it’s a good likelihood that Simpson has actually improved in 2 seasons. If not we have a guy that came from Washington with DeBoer, or the 2nd ranked high school quarterback in the nation. Unfortunately for LSU the 1st ranked high school quarterback in the nation opted for another team.

Bammers insist Milroe lost three games singlehandedly yet Simpson is supposedly better.

Simpson couldn't even get on the field in 2024.

Interesting

Perhaps our elite 5 star freshman quarterback will save the day like Tua did his first season. Unfortunately for LSU, the elite 5 star quarterback they recruited signed with Michigan

Or perhaps he will just transfer out like your elite 5 star from last year did.

Sayin committed to Nick Saban and left after Nick Saban did

Russell committed to DeBoer and will be here with DeBoer at spring practice in a few weeks. By the way, Michael Penix helped DeBoer recruit Russell

I see that you’re struggling, probably with the fact that your team couldn’t beat Jalen Milroe at qb and Sheridan at OC and will now face actual quarterbacks and Grubb.

And still without the elite 5 star quarterback your team recruited but signed with another team. Congratulations

Maybe that will be enough.

Maybe not.

I'm not sure the dynamics of the locker room were the same.
