The only thing that calms me a little is that we're playing in Tuscaloosa.Man I'm glad it's not being played at The Swamp.

Awful...I don't know
Id have thrown for 200 against the coverage Bama put up in the first half

Are you saying 17 points can beat BAMA's Offense?

Possibly. They scored 24 on AR D, and the last TD coming with less than 5 mins in the game I believe. Our D is better than AR IMO. I would be more comfortable with 20-27, but if our D has a hell of a game, 17-20 might get it done.

I can't argue the 3 ints, the last obviously was something he wasn't trying to force and making the correct decision. Just didn't get it to the sideline, which was very surprising
Mallet is a great player he just lost to a much better football team. Had that game been in Tuscaloosa they would have lost by 3 or 4 TD's.

That was on the road, and Alabama had a terrible first half.
Florida will need 27+ to win and their defense will have to be lights out.

It was in Arkansas and I wouldnt count on McElroy throwing another red zone int for some time. Nor BAMA having a first and goal at the 8 and calling three straight pass plays.

I watched the Bama/Arky game, and I can tell you one thing for sure. On every passing down, McElroy literally had 4 to 5 seconds to stand in a huge, non-moving pocket to look around the entire field, scan it profusely and make throws and still did not have a great game. I don't know if Arky was not bringing much up front to cover the receivers and such, but the amount of time and space he had was absolutely ridiculous. The amount of holding those guys do up front is truly remarkable, but if they don't call it, then so be it I guess.
If the Gators get any kind of pressure in McElroy's face, he will not do well. If they do that and are able to stop the two-headed Ingram/Richardson monster (which I'm not saying they will or they won't), they will win this game. Gators have a better D than Bammer. My gut tells me they slow the beast down enough to end the streak this week.

This weekend can't get here fast enough.

I don't think anyone "stops" the Bama 2 headed rushing attack. I think you can "slow" it down, but not totally shut it down.

I just want to know when somebody's going to start a comparison thread. "Which is better? Ingram/Richardson, Williams/Brown, or McFadden/Jones?" I can't believe I haven't seen that yet.

The last time G-mac played a Meyer coached team, how did that turn out?

This way, if they won, they beat "the best in the business". If they lose, they lost to "the best in the business".

Mallett looked awful. Yes he had a 300 yd day, but big deal. He also threw 3 crucial INT's.
Pretty standard day. Oh and it was against a well-coached defense too? Hm imagine that.

Mc went to hell in a hand basket during and for the next couple of series following the two picks. He did recover, but either refused to throw or overthrew after the picks the next two series. He frucked the offense up there for awhile and opponents saw that he can get rattled. Can you "kill em" as McElroy said you're going to have to do to beat the Bamers? Well, Mc, you showed the key, remember Predator? : "If it bleeds, we can kill it!"
