Zach Mettenberger had a solid day throwing the ball, Miles said. He completed 15 of 30 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns, according to Miles' stats. The scoring passes were a 55-yarder to Odell Beckham Jr. and a 31-yarder to James Wright, Miles said.

Dude's got a cannon! The other 13 completions averaged about 7 yards.

He really does..this is with him purposefully throwing at the CB' and them knowing it was coming at them...he would do much better if they were running a normal offense..

15/30 would revolutionize our offense.
We would also kick bamas arse.

I promise...we were 1-1 against y'all last year and didn't even get that many passing yards combined in 2 games...

Well I hope that defense of Alabama's gets sharp by November. They've already been beaten by a "bar thug" twice. Wouldn't want to get beat a molester too. If you call grabbing a drunk girl's arse molesting.

A select few Alabama fans, always means Alabama as a whole is obsessed with LSU....I see your point.

That's cute, I think you know how good "that defense" is.

I don't think we blow bama out of the water but I think we have a much improved offense that will give bama fits...we don't lose much on D either besides TM7 but we have some very talented and physical freshman ready to step it up...plus TM7 was sooo overrated anyways, right?

Plus you come to TS which will be even more rabid after we lost the NC

Enlighten me oh wise one as to why you would think that. Eric Reid said himself that the secondary was getting frustrated because they could hardly defend his passes...and we have one of the best secondaries in the country...

Well according to the Bama scrimmage thread, Lacy is running all over the 2nd team, which means they probably suck and that defense probably has no depth. Our RBs will have a field day with them most likely.

IRL, I would say this is just practice and scrimmage and you never know what situation either team is going to be in by November, but since scrimmages are such a clear indicator of future success according to this cancer of a thread, I'll say frick it.
