Be mindful of the speed traps heading eastbound on I-59 in Alabama. The last time I drove on that road, those frickers had 55 mph zones and pulled my arse over for doing 62.

Arrive safely and I hope you enjoy your visit.

Would also like to suggest Market Square and Gay St. for the best spots for restaurants within walking distance of Neyland. Babalu, Nama and Myrtle's are some of my favorites.

Check out the Old City for a great bar scene.

Avoid the strip (Cumberland Avenue adjacent to campus) unless you're a college kid.

Message to Alabama and Tennessee residents near where State fans will be passing through or congregating:

Lock up your livestock.

You omitted the sliver of Georgia before connecting with I-75 at Chattanooga

Awesome. It's a great corner of the city to hang out in, especially for mature adults. The 18-20 year olds stay on the Strip. Avoid that unless you're a kid

Strip blows nowadays even if you’re a college student.

There is a interstate construction area in Tuscaloosa and points East. There has been a state trooper presence there for the entire year plus long project, however, they have changed their game and are actively pulling over speeders working in teams by one cop using a radar and radioing to another trooper down the road to pull over caught speeder.

Crazy thing about this statement. I’ve driven through Alabama a lot and never seen a trooper on i65. It’s a third world state.
