Moving on is OK with me. Let's play ball. We have had over 100 years of dealing with them. We know them like the back of our hand.

Good luck to the rest of the SEC. You will need it.

True. Texas has no leverage in the SEC. They'll be told to shut up and get in line.

Yup. The SEC doesn’t give a frick how much financial leverage you have. If that was the case, they wouldn’t have left A&M out of this process. And combine that with the fact that the SEC doesn’t NEED Texas or Oklahoma. They need the SEC far more.

Whatever need you guys have with Texas, you just need to get over it and move on. We know Texas is your ex and your ex is moving back into town and will be a part of your life again. Most other schools want Texas. And the nation wants to see the Texas-A&M rivalry be rekindled again. It’s kind of like when Auburn and Bama stopped playing each other for all those years - it was BAD for college football but now that we are playing against each other again both Auburn and Bama fans are happy.

So, for the sake of everyone else in the SEC, please move on and help make the SEC a better conference!!!!

Ah yes. Another lecture for us A&M fans. How many is that now?

This has very little to do with play on the field. Texas is a cancerous conference killer and has the receipts to show it, you were warned.

This X10^23.

I don’t get you people that want this to happen. There MAY be more money, but I’m not convinced of that because A&M already brings the Texas ESPN money and you are now adding two more payouts. I could be wrong, but I just don’t see enough money being worth it.

I have no desire to play them right now, but I could warm up to the idea. Despite that overall record they keep touting, the fact is they ran that up when A&M was a small, all male, all military school. Once that changed, the record is basically even, and it was a helluva atmosphere when we played.

My issue is the people. I spent two years on that campus. It is so different from an SEC school that anybody who doesn’t see that just hasn’t been there. Silly protests, toxic wokeness, militant sexual identity activism, etc.

Hell, LBJ is their presidential library, and it fits them to a T. They BRAG about being the “Berkeley of Texas Schools”.

Oklahoma, I have no problem with. I think they would be a pretty good fit.

Troll A&M all you want. All the punch lines are there and it’s a good storyline. At the end of the day, you just won’t like the people.

Hold your horses. The games will be played on the field and I am confident A&M has their number. Texas can't even beat Iowa State right now.

I don't think you could beat Iowa State right now either. They aren't the 8-4 Gators.
