Ole Miss is getting set to take the state for the first time ever

Ole Miss should be able to take the state just about every year. You've got what it takes to be able to out recruit Miss State just about every year.

I'm pretty sure Ole Miss has better facilities than MSU. Ole Miss also has a better football tradition than MSU.

I didn't make the claim, but I'll bite.

Ole Miss has better facilities
Ole Miss puts more players into the NFL
Ole Miss goes to more bowls
Ole Miss doesn't ring cowbells.

Those are just a few off the top of my head.

Which junior college is going to?

In looking at last year's top players from MS list on Rivals I see very few guys that actually didn't make it to the school they committed to. This notion that talented athletes from Mississippi are going to JUCO as some sort of foregone conclusion is seeded in jealousy (Yeah, I'm replying to you, Arkansas fan. Have fun with Petrino's shite recruiting.) and based on no real logical precedent.

Ole Miss is going to "take the state" with JUCOs? The #1 player in the state is going to AU, so good luck with that take te state thing.

The game's not over with Coleman. We've still got an outside shot at the guy.

Come on Pank seriously?

Facilities are the same..

MSU has 19 in the NFL OM has 20. Basically the same.

Ole Miss has gone to two more bowl games since SEC 1992.. When SEC went to 12 teams

And we don't parade around a mascot name Rebels, with the flags and scream TSWRA.

Cowbells>your stuff

True, but I think quality over quantity definitely helps us. We had two guys go in the first round last year. When was the last time State had a guy go first round PERIOD? With Eli Manning winning a Superbowl, Patrick Willis beating the horse shite out of the entire NFC West, and Michael Oher having books and movies written about him, I think that we have a clear advantage in the NFL department.

Well then who is. If you're going to personally rank the players I'd like to see what your opinions on the guys are.

No particular order just my top 5

Vincent Sanders
Carlos Thompson
Kaleb Eulls
Travis Dickson
Bryon Bennett

Same here can't rank them
Then it will be Shun Coleman, Damien Robinson, Carlton Martin, Matthew Wells, Curtis Virges, Michael Carr

Last good group in MS
Robert Johnson,Steve McNair, Nick Griffin

Then a bunch of people you cant rank. Good talent, but all the same

Seriously, dude I don't need your approval.

I have seen most of these players play and talk to high school coaches and recruiting people.

I believe I'm okay in my rankings.
Might want to actually see them play and not somebody just telling you that on an Auburn site.

Coleman will be a good recruit..Does that make you feel better?
