By your logic, if it we're not for a series of missed blocks and a few poor tackles, some turnovers and poor special teams Ole Miss should be the best team in the country.

You are who your record says you are.

Nooooo, LSU held you to field goals instead of giving up tds or better field position. Everyone already knew your kicker sucked so you can't blame him for not making those field goals. They weren't within his range, so you have to credit LSU for not letting him get IN his range.

This... can't believe this came from an Arkansas fan. What happened to our non-stop flame session?

Bama won't even be ranked as the 2nd best team in the country....Huge home field advantage, and Bama choked miserably. I call bullshite on Saban saying he wasn't tense in the week leading up to the game. He was incredibly tense (Les Miles was a cool dude) and Nick showed it, and it probably caused his players to play tense (see overtime in particular) too.

I call it like I see it. LSU won straight up, Bama didn't give this one away like a lot of their fans are saying.

yeah, whoopie. No big deal. Who cares who won, right?

I love how a shitty kicker missing FGs well out of his range is phrased like you just made silly little mistakes to lose. If Saban wasn't such a scared bitch, he would have quit trying to kick 45-50 yard FGs with a kicker who spends more time doing curls than practicing kicks.

You're right, of course. I just hope the voters look at the stats and vote Bama #1.

Max, very true. That Bama field goal kicker did not look like a field goal kicker at all, and he proved that to be true....2nd best team in the country, and they go 2 for 6 in field goals. lol

Bama should have won solely based on those two stats alone.

A damn shame I tell you.

We should completely ignore the fact that, when the game was on theline in OT, Bama went backwards, because of LSU's not as good defense, while LSU's inferior offense took the ball inside the five giving them four great cracks at winning....but that is jus tsymantics, Bama is clearly number 1.

LSU didn't get 4th quarter worn out like all the other Bama opponents.

Both teams can make this argument, but the winning team is usually too busy celebrating to do so.

Hanks is too koolaided uo to accept the fact the BETTER team doesn't self inflict to the point it causes a loss, especially at home.
