They priced me out years ago. I haven’t been since before covid. I realized that season that I enjoyed football season more not having to fight crowds and coordinate logistics. And the amount of money was not insignificant.

It isn’t that I can’t afford to attend games, it is that it isn’t worth it to me anymore. Once you factor in gas, hotel (I live an hour from Bryant-Denny, but there is no way I am trying to drive after a game), food/beverage, ticket and concessions it quickly approaches $1000. Post season games; because of airfare, multiple nights in a hotel, and even higher ticket prices,; are $2,000+.

It just isn’t worth that to me to then have to fight a crowd.

But, y’all continue to have fun at the games.

they still have to balance the budget and ticket sales and everything that goes along with it would put a big dent in athletic department's budgets
