If I am Coach O, I go into spring ball and say its an open competition. You evaluate Brennan's 3 starts, TJ's 5 starts and Max's 2 starts (he starts vs Ole Miss this week), coach them each up and you say ok guys show me who is my #1 QB.
Nobody has a starting job, go into and put all the entitled mindset from the 2019 season, the opt outs, opt ins, etc and tell every young man who shows up for spring ball, all 22 starting jobs are open. Nothing is given, everything is earned.

He’s tough and he has the poise of a multi year starter. He sees the field better than most freshman at his position. He should have been starting earlier, because he will only get better. LSU got a good one with this guy
