Third place in the NCAA indoor long jump, had the second fastest qualifying time for the 60m final today, and the fastest 200m qualifying time for today's final.

Tennessee is currently 2nd in men's competition, Alabama 4th, Georgia 11th, Arkansas and Miss St 20th.
Florida leads the women with Ole Miss 2nd, Arkansas 3rd, Bama 13th, Kentucky and LSU 19th, Auburn 29th.

The meet concludes today. Boiling all by himself could finish in the top 5. I love watching that guy compete.

USATF’s next great athlete. He just glides effortlessly with that long stride of his.

He’s a stud. I’m not knocking Georgia but I’m curious, do you know the reason he went there. Family ties? Girlfriend went there? Something else?

I'm not as plugged in as I should be, but I think he liked our old coach, who turned Georgia from a good program into a great one. We won the NCAA outdoors Boiling's senior year in HS. I guess that impressed him.

Gonna be interesting to follow him once he gets a tad older and enters the PED phase to make the Olympics

Sidenote-- Florida qualified three guys for 400m men's final!! Gators have the fastest qualifying time for the 4x400 relay tonight with Georgia and Arkansas right behind them. Should be a great race.

He liked Althea Thomas as well. She coached the sprinters. She went to Vandy to be HC.

It's amazing that Boling stayed at UGA given the coaches left. A rare thing for a generational T&F athlete like that to stay at a school and not follow the coaches.

I don't know if Boling is going to win an Olympic Gold or not but he has about the best range of any sprinter/jumper ever. He could make an Olympic final in four different events and I wouldn't rule out the idea that he could run the 800 at a world class level.

Specifically, our old coach had some of the best long jump metrics (improvement from high school).

That was the primary factor in his decision. Im sure living in Athens helped (and helped keep him).

He could definitely excel in the 400. Georgia produces good decathletes, and I thought that's what drew him to UGA, but he doesn't seem interested. I would love to see him try a decathlon.

Correct. Anna Hall left and went to Florida when Petros left.

Arkansas Ayden Owens wins the heptathlon. Georgia's Kyle Garland 2nd. Georgia moves up to 5th in men's standings. Tennessee 2nd, Alabama 5th, Arkansas 7th.
Boling up in the 60m at 5:10 pm then 200 at 5:50.

I saw him run as a child and I thought I was watching a Greek God. His form was so perfect, smooth and effortless. I love watching him run. It really is a thing of beauty.

He’s a freak athlete. He has the tiger woods effect for me. Made me watch something I hardly ever watched.

He's definitely an elite athlete but he certainly doesn't glide...he's the opposite. He powers and grinds to the finish. Boling has improved his form and the more he does, the faster he will get.

As long as he can take what ALL the other sprinters are taking for the USA and Jamaican track programs...well of course they are all natural. No gene altering or peds in those two programs. Eyes rolling.

Boiling finishes 5th in the 60 with a 6.63. 200 meters coming up then the 4x400.
Georgia moves into 3rd overall.

Boling finished 2nd in the 200 but was disqualified due to a "line violation." He's up now in the 4x400.
Watching the NCAA scoring on-line and half the events are under dispute.
