Keep it up, 5 more years of Richt and you guys will be at 4 decades without a national championship. This while having the entire state of Georgia to recruit, I mean select from. Impressive.

Is Auburn really in any position to comment on the state of anyone's program? You're the only program I've ever seen that wasn't able to actually build off of a national title. Impressive.

I wasn't there.

But it seemed like Bama entered awfully close to the Dawgs stretching.
You couldn't imagine some words were spoken to rile up the locals?

It doesn't look good for the dawgs. No doubt. But don't pretend like Bama was just trying to calmly pass by.

They were on their sideline.

I am a Bammer hater, but I'll be the first to say. Your guys were the ones being classless jerks.

What were the Bammer players supposed to if going down their own sideline was "awfully close" to the Dawgs?

I've been saying this for years. I don't get why UGA keeps this dude around. He loses damn near every big game.

We are scared...Have you seen Tennessee and (to a lesser extent now as they seem to have found a guy) Florida the past few seasons. Hot garbage...

UGA is scared to take that chance, but I don't think they really have to.

Make Richt retire...leave him as some sort of Football office guy and make Pruitt the head coach.

Thats what I want

A Bobby Bowden acolyte is a full-of-shite hypocrite?

Wow, who would have ever imagined?

If non Christians can do it then lets not berate a Christian for doing it.

So if non-Christians sleep around on their own wives and kids, its OK for a Christian to do it?

What's the point of being a Christian if the only standard you hold yourself to are non-Christian standards?

Mark Ritch is a terrible big game coach. Georgia's actions this past Saturday before the game were very classless. I can't stand Bama, but they are alway prepared and focused. Georgia is never focused on the task at hand.

But Christianity as a whole is a religion that is as meant to be actively proclaimed as it is to be quietly pursued.

You seem to have this bass-ackwards.

The ones who stood on the street corner actively proclaiming their faith, Jesus had a word for... hypocrites.

Christianity is a faith that should be quietly proclaimed as it is to be actively pursued. The faith does, indeed, call for one to evangelize. That can be done best, however, without proclaiming "Look at me! I'm a great Christian! You need to be more like me!" The great evangelizer, St. Paul, spread the faith through actions, through his vast travels, his lessons and wisdom, not by standing on a pedestal proclaiming the piety and holiness of the great St. Paul.

Evangelize =/= publicize

Do you know Pruitt's history? When he was "coaching" at Alabama he was primarily a recruiter... and he recruited all four of the assault and battery foursome. Most of his recruits in two years were in trouble with the law...

Then when Saban would not promote him to actually coach a position, he left for FSU. Check the recruits he brought in there.. almost all including Winston were pretty deep into "thuggery," and though that just continued a long-standing FSU tradition, it did cement his reputation as a gangsta communicator.

When he went to Georgia, I predicted immediately that Georgia would start to have a much larger prison population within a couple of years and that they would soon adopt "orange" as one of their uniform colors. And it is working out that way.

The guy is not a real coach, but a bag-man recruiter with a pipeline of BS into the ghetto culture. You are welcome to him...
