These types of threads make it evident that LSU/Saints fans would rather the Saints burn than for a former Bama player to succeed at the pro level for the Saints. The level of hate LSU fans have for Alabama and all people and things associated with Alabama is mindbogglingly pathetic.

Lol ok
He's been inconsistent with the Saints and I'd rather see them not over pay for the guy when RBs are easy to replace and they also have Khiry Robinson.
But alright

In the last two seasons he has been very consistent with the Saints. In his first two years he averaged 3.9 yards a carry. In his last two seasons he has averaged 4.6 yards per carry.

Hopefully they'll replace him by drafting Yeldon and the LSU/Saint fan butthurt can continue.

Good. Now some other poor franchise is going give that bum even more money than he deserves.

No offense to Mark Ingram, but why was he picked up over Eddie Lacy?
This.

Eddie turned it down due to nagging injuries.

Nobody wants Yeldon to fumble their season away.

So he was bad two years and good two years, that seems inconsistent to me
He did improve but he is injury prone and like others have said it is foolish to waste a lot of money on him. Saints have found far better value with undrafted guys and low round picks.

True. But it could also show him growing and maturing as a player in the NFL. Ingram was very consistent this season.
He'll do well at a team that actually has running plays in their playbook.

He would have had 1,000+ yards this season had he not missed an entire month of the season due to injury. As it stands, he finished 2014 with 962 rushing yards, averaging 4.3 yards a pop.
RB A: 1124 yards 5.1 yards/att 9 Rushing TD
RB B: 964 yards 4.3 yards/att 9 Rushing TD

The LOLSaints problems go way deeper than a thousand yard RB. The ridiculously overpaid guy on the team wears #9.

So the 2009 Heisman winner is going to the Pro Bowl but not the 2010 Heisman winner who was drafted 27 spots earlier. Newton=NFL bust
