Just giving the Bama D the credit they are due.

I agree, but Mark has been the go to guy in the second half. He's perfect against a wore down defense who has been challenged physically for 3 quarters.

If he can put up some yards on UF and a TD or 2 in the SECCG and not get blinded by Spikes he has a decent shot. If he doesn't have at least one TD against UF he won't win it.

I think Ingram should win. Big 12 dont use defence in their conference. J.Lee would have 37,862.56 passing yards over there.

I think at this point, he deserves it. We'll see what happens in the next 5 games.

Ingram is by far the player who has had the greatest impact on Bama's success this year. I don't see anyone even close right now.

Another thing to keep in mind in all this is the politics... if Tebow comes along, he'll take some Ingram votes. Southern writers splitting votes = Colt McCoy, IMO.

There really isn't a legit candidate west of the mississippi other than McCoy.... you've got a huge block of B12 writers who have seen McCoy and UT slaughter their conference for 2+ years.

The wildcard in all this are the west coast guys... they've gotten to see a good bit of both UT and Bama.

The increased exposure under the new SEC/CBS/ESPN deal will help Ingram and Tebow... and future SEC Heisman candidates.

ehh, he only had 50 yards against our horrid D, 2.9 ypc. Did have two short TDs, but anybody could have scored those TDs (wide open)...he has a few goood games, then a few sleepers

But I am used to a RB putting up much better numbers and being screwed out of the Heisman, so you never know i guess

Arky put 8 in the box the entire game and we still ran the 1 and 2 hole most of the 4th quarter. I don't know why he was in the game at all after the first half I would have pulled him.

I'd rather see Ingram get it, than Tebow.

INGRAM HAD A GOOD GAME. NOT ENOUGH NUMBERS FOR HEISMAN. KID FROM CLEMSON CJ SPILLER IS A BETTER OVERALL BACK...FASTER, RETURNS KICKS, ETC. MCCOY MIGHT GET IT IF LONGHORNS GO UNDEFEATED ALTHOUGH KID FROM HOUSTON, KEENUM, HAS HUGE NUMBERS. ANTHONY DIXON FROM STATE IS THE BEST BACK IN THE LEAGUE. IF HE HAD BAMA'S LINE HE'ED HAVE CLOSE TO 2,000 YARDS. INGRAM WILL HAVE TO WAIT. HE WON'T WIN IT.
