LOL, I didn't care whether it was serious or not, I wasn't offended personally but if you're going to make "tasteless" jokes about thousands of people dying then spare me the moral superiority. Thanks.

I've never said or intimated that I thought he should be honored. That's why my first post questioned why this was even being brought up on this board, seeing as how he didn't post here. There was only one way this thread was going to go, and unfortunately it did. Point being, that many UA fans thought he was full of hate and ridiculed him for it, but then turn around and wish the man to rot in hell because he talked bad about their team.

I think only one person so far has said anything about him rotting in hell. We just don't care that he died, and think he was a scumbag while he was alive. Is that wrong?

Sounds to me like you do. It actually sounds like you care quite a bit.

O RLY? I guess I must be missing something. "Don't care" - meaning we aren't saddened by it.

If you think an OBVIOUS joke is in any comparable to the grave dancing your boys were doing then you're hopeless.

I often wonder the same considering all he did was refer to Bear Bryant as a "dead cheating drunk".

I wonder if the family Bear left behind, many moons ago, would think the same?

I honestly don't care much. I'm sorry that the man passed and I am sorry for what his family is having to go through. They have my sympathy. He doesn't affect my life in any way so I really don't know what to say. I'm not happy he died regardless of the things he had said in the past. I don't wish things like that on anyone.

Cardiac Arrhythmia

Sad to see him go, he was a good guy and had a lot of good insight into recruits as he had a great eye for talent and was honest in his assessment.

He was a shite stirrer of the highest degree. He tried his best to ruin people's lives and slander people's names. He was getting sued for his shite and rightfully so.

He took all this way too seriously and way too far. I have no doubt his manic obsession lead to his health problems. It's a sad sad story.

That said...I hate to hear the guy passed away. I am sorry for that. I am praying for his family and send my condolences to them. I really hope Mark is in heaven as I type this and is before the presence of the Father.

I had no respect for him while he was alive, same now that he is dead. He was part of the evil side of the rivalry and im not talking about him being an Auburn fan.

I did not say I have any respect for him. I don't. I just take no joy in his death.

Lay off Mark Green now is not the time and there really is no time to pile on. But those who constantly talk about the bear or dress a skeleton up in a hounds tooth hat should think about how it is hypocritical to be offended about this and support that stuff.

By no means am I celebrating Green's death, whether all contrived conspiracy theories all day long or not. I have several AU friends who do the same, but they're still good people and I love them to death.

The point I'm making is it's hypocritical for some AU fans to come on here blasting certain individuals for saying they didn't like the guy, no sorrow, and such, when their fan base frequently calls one of our most legendary iconic coaches a "dead drunk", as well as pissing on pictures of Gene Stallings and his deceased son (provided in the link of my previous post).

And if there's one thing Brad Pitt hates, it's hypocrites, which is why I stay away from churches, but that's a different story.

I am none of those people. So hypocrite would be off track.

I just know that he has a wife, 3 kids, all of whom could not care less about a freaking rivalry right now.

The guy hated bama and loved stirring the pot. That being said, he was a father and husband. At least for the sake of his family, why make disrespectful comments either way? I just don't get it.

But don't lump me in with those idiots. I shouldn't have generalized. But the theme on this thread was initiated and added to by all alabama fans. So that's why I posted what I did.
