Can't wait for the Rick Bozich, "Why doesn't UK play Cincy?" column.

UK, UL, and UC would be a fun regional round robin every few years or so.

Given how much love is between those three teams, someone might kill someone in that series.

Uk would run west Virginia off the floor
Maryland would be interesting their guard play is 10x better then UK. Melo is the truth

I mean you think this one was rough, I've seen some Cincy/Louisville matchups that might've drawn legit charges in some places.

At this point, it's survive and advance.

'Grats Cats.
Today exemplified how good you are (bastards). Out played for a lot of it and still won easily.

I have a buddy who goes to xavier and he was at the brawl game. He just described it as total and utter chaos on the court, in the stands, and outside of the stadium. That group of teams would be must watch

I'm still curious about which of UNC's bigs you think will "own" UW in the post when UW has the Big Ten Player of the Year in the form of a 7 footer who can rebound with the best of them and step outside to hit threes.
Seriously. Who?

Indeed. Never met a NCAA champ that didn't get challenged in the NCAA tournament.
Good luck to the Fighting Portises

We could call it the Fisticuffs Classic. Trophy is a get out of jail free card and a pair of gloves signed by Ali.

I love Kaminsky, but he can be bullied by guys who play with more power (see: UK in the Final Four game last year. See also: Okafor, Jahlil). I think UNC can rotate Meeks, Johnson, and Tokoto in the paint to give him problems defensively. Kaminsky will always get his on offense because he is so skilled.

Something has to be at stake for the losers as well, like they don't get a trial, they just get acquitted on assault and battery chargers. That would really spice things up

1) But UNC doesn't have anyone who can do that. They put two 6'9" bigs on the court.
2) It is also worth noting that swarming Kaminsky has its costs. Take the Kentucky game last year, for instance -- Kaminsky was held to 8 pts., but Dekker had 15, Burst had 15, Jackson had 12, and Koenig had 11.
Let's not forget that Wisconsin lost that game by a mere point. Kentucky hit the game winner with 7 second left. Its not like UW couldn't have won the game -- in fact, they almost did.

I'm well aware of this. I also think that upsets happen in the tourney sometimes. UNC over Wisconsin could be one of them.
I wasn't talking about Kaminsky having issues on offense. His problems against UNC/Arizona/Arkansas will be on defense. And yes, I know he was phenomenal against Arizona last year.

That's a terrible argument. Of course upsets happen. But that's not a good basis for your prediction that UNC will "own" UW in the post.

Dude is averaging a pair of blocks per game, and his front court mate Nigel Hayes is built from the same stuff as UNC's pair of bigs - undersized but scrappy as hell. Hayes is averaging 6.5 boards per game.

I watched Carolina go inside over and over and over and over again at Duke with repeated success. If they focus on playing through their bigs, those guys can be really good.

While I think they could possibly contain Kaminsky, I think Wisky would have the guard advantage if they did.
And UNC wouldn't be real crazy about Wisky slowing it down some. I think maybe that hurts them the most.
