That's what James Franklin's injury is, and he's out 3-5 weeks. For JFF, it's a banged up shoulder and knee though - he's likely to struggle.
Much as I don't care for his personality, I hate to see this happen to any talented player. Hope he recovers well, and quickly.
So, is the list of starting QBs still healthy shorter than the injured ones?

Let's say a guy accidentally hits another guy over the head with a hammer 21 times, and the said guy doesn't seem to be getting up.
Now let's say the guy with the hammer thinks the guy lying down will recover with some fresh air and helps that guy out to the desert to get it. The other guy decides it would be a good idea to head back to the convenience store and get a couple of beers to share with the guy lying down.
When the hammer guy starts heading back to share beers, he forgets where he left his girlfriends husband. Do you think the girlfriends husband is gonna be pissed he not only didn't get his beer, but now has to walk back to town?
Yes.

He was questioning the toughness of Manziel's online classes. He was not calling into question A&M's academics as a whole.

Hey, we're just talking here.

And thanks for the kind words about JFF. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way. Auburn is never down for long.

I doubt they are all cakewalks. Online or not, he still has to take the exams and make the grades.
Either way, I'll end the thread hijack here.

I don't know where the idea originated that online classes are any easier than face-to-face environments; on the contrary, they're often more involved and challenging to students than traditional classroom settings.

You guys are going to struggle without JFF. But aTm is a good school (academically too) with a lot of capable players.
Personally, I don't care for JFF's antics. But, by God, he was fun to watch. If he doesn't take the time to heal, your next year will look like our last year -- if he stays. Your coaches are going to ruin him if they keep drugging him to play through the pain. a regular season game isn't worth that risk for a college athlete.
I hope he sits out your game against us -- for his sake, you know. Just thinking about him. :)

I heard is was a level 2 separated shoulder (the collar bone's ligaments partially tear away and the bone sticks up where it connects to the shoulder).
That would be an AC joint separation and not an actual shoulder separation. And if it's a grade 2, he's not throwing a football in a game anytime soon. I have a grade 3 in my non throwing shoulder from high school. If it had been on my throwing shoulder, it probably would have taken a a couple months to be able to play quarterback with it. And if he doesn't get it fixed, he will have problems with it later in his pro career. If that's the injury, he is kinda screwed but he could still play with it at some point maybe.

I'm no Dr. but I don't think a ligament repairs itself with ice and exercise.
Some ligaments do repair themselves if they have adequate blood flow. MCL is one. ACL does not have the blood flow to heal itself. That is why surgery is needed.

Ehh, we all think JFF is kinda douchey, but he's fun to watch when he's playing someone other than your team.
Doesn't he have a huge insurance policy, so if he does get hurt he'll be covered?

Dude, you will never pass the bar if you take that long to answer a simple question like the one I posted.
Here:
Normally, an email would be hearsay, because it is an out-of-court statement or writing offered to prove to truth of the matter asserted. However, this email meets the "party admission" exception to the hearsay rule.
But, that's not enough to get the email admitted. It may be irrelevant. Because this is a contract dispute, most jurisdictions do not allow "parole evidence" to be admitted unless and until the Court finds an ambiguity in the contract in question. Once the Court declares a portion of a contract ambiguous, the parties may introduce "parole" evidence showing the parties' intent. In this matter, the Court must find that the provision regarding employer-defendant's guarantee of pay is ambiguous.
This guy is trying way too hard... If we think he's smart, then we will think A&M academics are great!
amright?
