there is NO comparison on this planet between the seasons the two players have had. NONE. Football should be one of the most obvious winners ever and he even has his Johnny Heisman moment to go with it.

Lemme give you something to chew on....

Manti T'eo......is a Mormon!!!

The Heisman will go to a Mormon at a Catholic school. That's a double hit for most people, right there.

Wasn't Jim McMahon a Mormom? I dunno. Nevermind.

Anyways, T'eo will win it because he goes to Notre Dame and he is a minority and wasn't his girlfriend killed or something like that?

Everyone hates the SEC this year. No one is going to want to admit the SEC is the mac daddy of all conferences by awarding the first freshman in history with a Heisman. I mean the SEC already owns the first sophomore trophy holder - they are not going to allow us to own the first freshman trophy.

BTW, A&M fans should be sucking Mike Slive's SEC arse because their boy wouldn't stand a chance right now were they not a member of the SEC this year.

You mean it is RIGGED, regardless of who wins. It's always full of shenanigans.

I think McMahon was a Catholic at a Mormon school. And played QB to Teo's MLB. So Manti Teo is kind of the Anti-Jim McMahon.

Fawk Jim McMahon and his Mormom arse ... I meant Ty Detmer. Look at'em ... it's obvious he is a Morman. One Mormon with a Heisman is enough.

That's the default when there are no other good candidates it seems. JFF has had a better statistical season than both Tebow and Cam when they won the Heisman.

For whatever messed up reason they really like picking a guy playing in the MNC. RG3 last year kind of broke that mold but they certianly weren't giving it to the Honey Badger.

The whole 'Manti Tea for Heisman' is one of the biggest shams in recent history. Even understanding that he plays for ND and they're #1, it still blows my mind that he is even considered a strong candidate.

I think Murray should definitely be considered before Klein. As for the best player, a LOT of people I know have tuned in to watch A&M play this year simply because of Manziel.

Kid is the most electrifying player I've seen at the College level - some of the stuff he pulls on a football field is just insane.

Cam Newton did things in college that still make me want to puke.

Against Ole Miss when they were a .500 club he ran, caught, and threw TDs. He couldn't throw against LSU's Morris Claiborne and Patrick Peterson so he just decided to run for 220 yards against a top 3 rush defense. Against Bama, when they were #1 (I think), in Bama, he was down 21 points at half, and came back to win.

JFF is a great, great player. Cam Newton did things that insulted my intelligence. He rearranged my ideas of what was possible from the QB position.

ETA:

all of that to say frick THEM BOTH.

I agree. Jarvis Jones and Moseley will great pros IMO. I think Minter will even be better than Teo. Teo will be an average guy in the league at best.

He still plays defense, so he won't.

Man, Te'o isn't even the best defensive player of the last 5 years. If Suh and Mathieu couldn't win, neither will Te'o. His highlight reel is straight up boring compared to those guys.

Along with about 100 other players in CFB this year. Derrick Thomas recorded 27 sacks and 39 TFLs in 1988 and finished TENTH. Te'o shouldn't even get a fricking vote for 5th place and he's going to win the damn thing.

I still think that was the most dominating year by a defensive player ever.

That was one of the best Ds in the country that year. Totally dominated and beat the frick out of people.
