re: Malzahn will finish with a winning record against Saban

What is all the fuss. Malzahn has a 1-0 winning record vs Saban as a HC. Trying to infuse anything else into the discussion is a reach at best. The OC has control of only one aspect of a football program. Furthermore, the HC has the ability to alter that control as he wishes.
Silly Bama fans acting cult like to protect their coaches honor, no matter how nonsensical their argument becomes.
Whether Arky St was a step down from AU OC it was one Gus felt needed to happen. Seems to have been a stellar choice.

will Gus ever drop 30 points on Saban?
Posted on 3/2/14 at 9:58 pm to ehole
It's possible and likely it could happen.
If Malzahn were to beat Saban 5 times in a row with never scoring more than 28 points, who would be more excited about their coach, you or me?

I would say it's far more likely Gus drops a goose egg...oh wait...that happened already? Never-mind, continue.

Which year did that zero points happen?

By the end of Saban's career Malzahn will have a winning record. Agree or Disagree?
Agreed
Chizik is the only AU coach Saban has a winning record against.

This will occur when AU fans remember LSU was up 35-14 midway through the 4th quarter.
What's funnier is, the barners honestly think that they were the better team in that game and almost had it won! They never lead, they trailed 21-0 at one point, they never got closer than two touchdowns, (and let's face it, that last touchdown was a cosmetic score and nothing more), but still, auburn was the better team in that game. Just ask them!

This is blatantly false. feel free to provide links to all the "barners" that have posted this?

We had a damn strong comeback though. Almost got the ball in the endzone again at the end and that onside kick should have gone our way.
Oh well, the better team won that night so I can't complain too much
A cosmetic touchdown with very little time remaining does not qualify as a strong comeback. And I said the exact same thing back in the Shula days when Auburn was beating Bama year in and year out. Shula loved to tack on meaningless scores at the end of the game and I always called them what they were. Window dressing to disguise the beat downs that they really were. Face it, Auburn did the same thing in 2013 vs. LSU.

Well, I can't find it now. It was awhile back. Back on like the Monday after the Auburn-LSU game, plus it was on like al.com or something, I can't be 100% certain.

So Gus' offense didn't get shut down in that game?
...or are we just blaming everything on Chizik?

You an alter?
Also, most of us were doing plenty of trolling about the "stiff dew" and having fun with it. Every Time we did we had a dozen LSU fans chime in fully rustled. It was cheap entertainment and worth it after the loss. You will find however that most said LSU beat us that night fair and square.

You seemed certain in your post, but I can assure you we felt like the team gained confidence over that game. We also were glad to see they never gave up in that game, which they would have in 2012. We could tell it was a different team than the year before. As always there will be a couple of homers that will claim more, but on this board not so much.

Are you retarded. He provided a link where Gus's offense was blanked and proved he was correct. I told him great find.
Nice fail on your part.
