Hell, Brown doesn't even have the numbers to crack the Top 5 SEC backs this decade.

The Brown love fest is based largley on invalid assumption and the "Running Back U" myth.

if...big if....felix jones was more productive in college and gonna be a bigger splash in the league..why did it take till the 22nd pick to be selected...you are dead wrong and wearing blinders if you believe felix jones is better than ronnie brown....ronnie brown is the focus of the wildcat at miami...felix jones could easily be replace at dallas...he was mcfaddens dirty step sister at arkansas....your just NOT being objective about this...i agree felix jones was/is a good back....did he make the impact in college ronnie brown and/or carnell did....answer NOOOOOOOOOOOO

I didn't realize 22nd in the first round, 2nd back taken behind McFadden, was insulting?

So, let me get this straight.

Jones, who has far far better College numbers than Brown, and has far far better NFL averages thus far, is ACTUALLY inferior to Brown?

Easily replaced in Dallas? Seriously? You can't turn on the radio or TV down here without hearing Jones getting jerked off. He had 80 APY on 5 or 6 touches Sunday and had Romo not been in the process of damn near throwing for 400 yards, Jones would have had a coming out party.

I really need someone smarter than this clown to debate with.

What round did Tom Brady go in? Just because he went 22nd doesn't mean he wasn't as good in college. Heyward-Bey was nowhere near as good as Crabtree but was drafted earlier due to measurables and Al Davis being on crazy pills.

I think Felix is better. I like Ronnie Brown but I thought Felix was awesome in college but wouldn't be quite so good in the NFL. He's made me a believer though. They're different kinds of backs though. Dallas isn't using Felix as an every down back. He's a great change of pace with Barber in their.

I could make an argument for either guy being better but I'll take Felix due to the gaudy stats.

Seriously? You're dogging someone because he was taken 22nd in the first round of the NFL draft? You are an idiot.

why was he a backup to mcfadden? cause he was better...why wasnt he taken higher in the draft, even by a team not wanting a back but for leverage..hmm....he is a good back and probably one of the best to come out of the swc besides mcfadden but he will be injured throughout his career in the nfl...

What the hell? This thread sure got derailed. 1. How can anyone say Arkansas as as program doesn't belong in the SEC. Our basketball team has won a national championship as an SEC member, our football team has won 3 SEC divisional titles - just have to get over THAT hump, our baseball team has been to several CWS, our golf team just finished second in the golf tourny, our track program is the gold standard of all college sports. We are behind ONLY LSU in terms of total national championships by an SEC school since joining the league. If you seperate men's and women's sports we're ahead of LSU. We may not be an ideal geographical fit in the SEC, but the notion that our program doesn't belong is preposterous.
