I'm easily impressed, but that was pretty cool.

anyone just watch him do that on espn? he would literally spike the football into the ground while walking and have it bounce back perfectly every time. madmethskillson

A lot easier than it looks.

It's harder to throw it down on it's side and bounce it to yourself.

Yeah it's actually pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Took me a little while to get it right, but it's not as difficult as some might think

Yep. You don't throw it down where the tip hits the ground.

so you spin it so the body/belly hits the ground horizontally? looked like the tip/point of the football was heading back into his hand first, coming off the ground

He's practicing his intentional grounding for when he's drafted by Carolina.

Mallett's 12 pound tip is always hitting the ground brougham!

You don't spin it. You toss it to the ground so the body of the ball is parallel to the ground, so it bounces straight up.

Andrew Luck can make a football turn into gold though.

im not trying to be a dick. every time i have EVER watched a team warm up, people could do this. usually, it's the kickers, punters, and quarterbacks.

I've seen a lot of players do this. If you wanna see something really cool, google Allen Iverson dribbling a football. It may be on YouTube.
