Here's how this thread will go:

LSU and Auburn Fans slob on Mack Brown's knob.

Most everyone else will say it's impossible to know what would've happened.

Vince Young, Tim Tebow...two more game changers. They must be better than Brady.

How is Colt McCoy doing in the NFL? If he was that big of a game changer he must be the next Tom Brady

How have Greg Mcelroy, John Parker Wilson, AJ Mccarron or whoever that retread yall had from Florida state done in the NFL? I think AJ Mccarron is the only one thats even managed to stay on a roster and he is the backup to one of the worst qb's in the league. If there is an argument for you to make here, it isnt that one.

It’s not like Colt just randomly turned an ankle...he got the piss knocked out of him by an elite player. Alabama knocked his arse out of the game.

Either way McCoy didn’t play defense. Bama was running all over Texas...that wouldn’t have changed.

It’s been pathetic to watch Brown cry about this for 10 years.

We could play the “If” game all day. What if our All-American L.B. Donta Hightower was also able to play? What if McElroy was playing with cracked ribs?

And if Greg McElroy didn’t have two cracked ribs maybe he passes for more than 6 of 11 for 58 yards.

Yeah Mack, it turns out Bama wasn’t interested in letting your golden boy QB run all over the place like the rest of the Big12. Turns out people hit a little harder in the SEC.

So McCoy plays defense and stops Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson for running for 100 apiece?

Barner here.

With Richardson and Ingram there isn't any way Alabama loses that game. Alabama just got done beating the #1 team in the country (with a sorta kinda good mobile QB) by 19.

Let's not forget that 2009 was Lil Bear's first perfect season.

Deshaun Watson is one of the worst QB's in the league? I disagree.

Would Colt had played defense too?

So focused on Florida? That game had happened a month previously. You didnt play well against Nebraska because Colt sucked against good defenses. Nebraska and Oklahoma were the only top 10 defenses Texas played that year before the BCS. Colt sucked arse in both games. Alabama had the #1 defense that year.

“I thought they came into the game not respecting us

Yeah we know Saban's MO is to not respect opponents especially the #2 team in the country.

and we were good. They had trouble with mobile quarterbacks.

Wut? Bama had shut down Tebow in the SEC Championship. Hell Tyrod Taylor had negative rushing yards against Bama.

They had trouble with the offense we were running.

Based on what?

quote:

Garrett Gilbert came in and still gave us a chance to win, but we had four turnovers, and that’s why we ended up losing the game.”

Gilbert hit two good passes and was horrible the rest of the night.

Ingram and Richardson both rushed for over 100 yards on Texas. Did Colt play LB too?

Greg Mc Elroy was seriously limited, which practically takes Julio Jones out of the game.

Texas was lucky. With a healthy Mc Elroy we likely embarrass them.

I thought he still played for Cincinnati, well he played the first several years of his time in the league as a backup to one of the worst QB's in the league.

Then he should blame Colt for quitting.
