Cam 2/5 10 yds 1 Int

His pic (on his one drive he played) should have been a 34 yard completion. That ball was perfectly placed, the defender just ripped it from the wr.

As someone already pointed out, the majority of the NE wrs are poopoo

Aren't you the same poster who said Nix was a better QB than Mac?

I don't think Cam is worried. Wait till real competition starts. Most of the players playing past the first series will be fighting for practice squad slots. This is NFL preseason football. NE is undefeated now, do yo think that is indicative of this team? Lol.

Kind of feel for Cam to be honest. He’s had a good preseason but he will playing each week to keep his job.
How it should be, TBH.

There’s a reason BB brought him back. He knew NE would likely draft a QB, and there wasn’t anyone better that could bridge the gap during the first season if the rookie wasn’t ready to start. BB is also smart enough to realize New England went 7-8 with CN1 as starter last year, and that was with the poorest offensive supporting cast in the NFL.

The 2021 Patriots team is far, far more talented than the 2020 Patriots team. TE, WR and RB are improved. The QB room as a whole is improved. The OL is said to be among the NFL’s best.

It’s also painfully obvious Cam Newton really likes Mac Jones.

No, I said Nix could have produced as much as Jones with the same weapons , system and coaching. Most better than average QBs could have last year.

Newton is a hard man not to like.

Mac will take this job at some point this year because of the system but Newton will play and start next year for another team where he is a better fit.

Most ITT haven’t even flipped the TV on to the game.

Here’s the play, and it was a fricking dime by CN1.

I don't know why you bama fans keep acting like it'll be a shock for Mac to get the job over Cam.

Just remember that Cam is one of - if not THE - most hated opposing players for Bammers.

I agree. I have found myself growing more fond of him because of how he’s acted throughout.

It’s what you want to see with players.

Cam Newton knows he will have to hand the torch off someday — everyone does. He’s not the douchebag people like to spout. I dare anyone to find a former teammate that hates Cam Newton, and spare me the fatass Kelvin Benjamin.

He’s been helping Mac Jones a lot.

Goodness, Brian Hoyer had better stats than Cam.

That’ll make 2010 sting a little less, IMO.

No it won’t… this has nothing to do with that. Whatever they were still computer thieves and dirty fricks.

Honestly, I remember him pouting at some post game presser. So, I assumed he’d be a bad teammate to mac in this situation. He seems to have actually been a really good teammate.

He's been supportive, that's true...not sure how it'll go when he loses the starting job.
That infamous post game press conference cemented a lot of people's thoughts about Newton.
