what makes him a better qb than jefferson?
I'm not the one arguing this..you are. I'm arguing that GMac is not average at best. Do I think GMac is better than JJ? Yes...but its very debatable and there is no use in even trying because no LSU Fan would say they rather GMac, and no Bama Fan would say they rather JJ. I think both are about a 7 on a scale.

But your basis for GMac being very average is built on speculation (what he can or cannot do against UF if Ingram goes down), and saying that if he had no running game he would not be near as good....gimme a break.

Looking at 100 yard ruishing games is not an accurate indicator of a teams rushing defense. This is why I use YPC because that is the more accurate statistic. If I were to say Team A rushed for 125 yards on Team B then you might say they had a great run game. But if I told you that they got those 125 yards on 50 carries then you would see that the 125 yards was not really that impressive.
We have a better running game than we did last year, and last year we averaged over 4 ypc against them. We will run on them again...just like we did last year. We are too big and physical for their undersized, fast defense.

If our defense would have been able to get off the field on 3rd down in the 4th quarter we win that game, because we were dominated them on the ground. They couldn't though.

nope, it's the fact that i've seen him struggle in several games this year. hell, i'll even say this, he's young he could improve and end up being a very good qb. i just think jefferson is better and has more "upside". he played a year before he should have, and he's mobile.

Again, outside of Ole Miss and South Carolina he has been very good this year. Your opinion is built on speculation, nothing more nothing less. You want to crucify him for 2 games...do so. He was fine against UK and UT. Against UT he would have completed like 78% of his balls had it not been for the drops. He didn't have a TD pass, but that doesn't necessarily mean he did bad.

JJ was a whopping 10/17 for like 100 yards. He threw and completed only 1 ball past 10 yards.

You do know he was injured and had to be taken out of the game right? And it had nothing to do with the fact that 'his coaches were babying him.'

I was talking about pre-injury. Yes...it did have to do with his coaches babying him. Every game they baby him in the passing game. If you are going to jump in and say something, make sure you read everything first.

You sound like a 13 year old. You obviously know nothing about college football. McElroy really isn't as good as Jefferson.

While that is your opinion and all....are you sure you are not an LSU fan? You have been the most negative person about Bama since you have been on here. I'm no homer either, but do you ever give them credit for anything?

next year, the question is who will be your coach? rumor mills have already started that miles is gone to Mich, and Saban back to LSU

the only thing worse for a bamertthan losing to lsu would be to losing with nicky as the tigers coach

Saban back to LSU

I doubt he's going back to LSU. I think he liked it there, but he's happy where he is right now. His family loves it here and he has a freshman at Alabama. He's not going to leave anytime soon.

So am I. There was nothing wrong with the arguments to call them delusional. He was stating his opinion as was everyone else. The stats are very similar between the two with McElroy being a little better and yes I realize JJ was out for one and a half games. I know McElroy hasn't been perfect, but my goodness they are winning games and he is a first year starter...not sure what else we could expect. Like I said nothing wrong with having an opinion, but I was just wondering cause you seem to be very low on Bama is all.

He's undefeated, has a shot to win the SEC and MNC this year. Next year he'll have the same opportunity...JJ does not.
