Florida and Florida State have the same number of AP National Titles as Texas (3). Alabama has more than that in the Saban era alone.

That's kind of embarrassing for a supposed blue blood.

I swore it was 4 but I guess Bama adds to theirs and removes other universities' Championships

Do not worry UT is the epitome of football blueblood pretty much like Ohio State and Michigan

Maybe that is why if the Big XII falls you will see UT playing football against the likes of Penn St, Michigan and Ohio St.

This is why I think the SEC should be the ones who are trying to make sure the Big XII stays around

I think the AD's and the SEC office understands this maybe not the fans

Nope, it's 3. I'm just using the universal metric of the AP Poll.

Alabama - 10
Notre Dame - 8
Oklahoma - 7
Miami - 5
Ohio State - 5
USC - 5
Nebraska - 4
Minnesota - 4
Florida - 3
Florida State - 3
Texas - 3

Barely any national titles since the 1960s? Yep, you are right, you guys line up well together. Ohio State less so, as they are actually relevant in the modern era, but Michigan is spot on. Texas + Michigan have combined for 2 national titles since 1970. Wow, impressive.

Alabama is already playing games against Penn State, Michigan, Florida State and Southern Cal (all since 2010). Doesn't really matter is the SEC falls or not.

Cool story but the funny thing is UT has also
11 unclaimed national championships

We could just be like Bama and say we have 15 national championships

No, you couldn't. Not anywhere near legitimately.

- Alabama has 10 AP titles. Texas has 3.
- Alabama has 9 Coaches titles. Texas has 4.

Texas isn't in Alabama's class. It's ok, not a big deal, only a handful of others are. You are a program that has had some pockets of elite success. You are a nice little program. You are not Alabama, Notre Dame, USC or Oklahoma. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

So back to the subject... If LSU co-hosted a camp in Austin, would Herman be ok with it?

But head to head we are better than Bama

Polls are popularly contest
Only thing you can judge is head to head results

If we do that then UT puts your Bama arse into the dirt
UT might just put your Bama arse into the dirt even without playing. From rumors I have heard the NCAA is beginning to sniff about Bama. For whatever reasons the car salesmen in Birmingham cannot refrain from cheating.

Bama has the petty bourgeoisie boosters running their programs while UT has successful multimillionaires running theirs

The only time it gets loud at a Texas game is when they show Matthew McConaughey on the big screen.

Makes sense.

Maybe one day Texas can re-establish themselves as a better program than :
- Syracuse (0-2-1)
- Kansas State (7-10)
- West Virginia (2-4)
- Penn State (2-3)
- UCLA (3-4)
- USC (1-4)
- Vanderbilt (3-8-1)
- Notre Dame (3-9)
- BYU (1-4)

Better hope the Haskell Indian Nations don't demand a rematch or you might go back to all square with them (6-5).

Ouch

LSU has more recent national championships than Texas in:

-Football
-Baseball
-Golf
-Track & Field

LSU and Texas have the same amount of national championships in football & baseball.

LSU has more national championships in golf.

LSU is better than Texas.

Yet they have a better record against Alabama and it is not even close

If it wasn't for Suh hurting McCoy in the Big XII championship game UT would still be undefeated against Bama

Don't forget:

LSU 1st round draft picks in 2017 - 3
t.u. total draft picks in 2017 - 1

And if not for Cooper Castleberry putting one extra second on the clock when the game ended 12-10 Nebraska, Alabama would have played Cincinnati in the title game.

There is no way you aren't an alter trying to embarrass Texas.

And Vanderbilt has a better record against Texas and it is not even close. Guess that means Vanderbilt is a better program than Texas.
